The host, Ariana Tokes, brings on the ”yanacast” members who all work with YANA Wellness Center as subject matter experts, wellness advisors, and creative talent that provide holistic wellness services and discuss ways that plant medicine, like cannabis and mushrooms, support their creative process and wellness journey. The YANA Wellness Center in based in Washington, DC. YANA is at the forefront of changing the stigma of cannabis and psilocybin mushrooms.

Welcome Lauralee Benjamin, a spotlight artist at YANA Creativity and Wellness Center. Lauralee is a multimedia visual artist from Queens, NY who creates femme erotic art, connecting themes of sex, love, lust, pain, revenge and control. She uses images appropriated from pornography to hijack the patriarchal sentiments and flip them into female, queer, and trans empowering narratives.
At YANA, we work with creative talent who help us raise awareness for the cannabis culture and its role in mental health and creativity. We also have a large LGBTQ+ community at YANA, which Lauralee connects with in all of her work. Lauralee has created 3 exclusive lighter art collections with YANA and we have released a new one for pride month! Her non-conformist style makes you think twice about your own idea of sexuality.

Meet Dr.Vivid, a YANA Wellness Advisor at the YANA Wellness Center in DC. Dr. Vivid is a clinical psychologist, therapist, motivational speaker, author, podcaster, and cannabis activist who integrates this holistic plant medicine into her practice. Dr. Vivid shows us that you can be anything you set your mind to and encourages her community to take care of their mental health with frequent self love practices.
